History:

This elderly man was not immunosupressed but he developed this scaly rash on his ears and eyebrows.He had only mild itch.However examination of the scale showed multiple scabies mites.

Most cases of crusted scabies are seen in immunosupressed individuals or the elderly incapacitated in nursing homes.The following is an interesting case from the Dermatology Online Journal.
