History:

Epidermoid cysts often incorrectly called ‘sebaceous cysts’ are common and can occur on the scalp, face, behind the ears and on the trunk. They often have a central punctum; when they rupture or are squeezed, foul smelling cheesy material comes out. The present case is an epidermoid cyst in the epigastric region of more than 10 years duration. It seems that the skin overlying the cyst has been atrophied with some dilated vessels due to the pressure effect produced by the cyst. The punctum in the central part of the cyst is so evident.
